Don’t Let Everyone Get Inside Your Head

We consistently look for validation when we are executing our ideas. I believe it is human nature to want to know that you are doing good and hear someone tell you, job well done. That is why we must be careful who we let inside of our heads.

Because I am saved, I believe that first and foremost you must pray and ask God for guidance. When you develop a relationship with God, you will know when he is speaking to you and leading you. He also provides you with discernment and the ability to know who to let in your head. Personally, I believe in keeping a small circle of confidants.

I also believe it is about believing and trusting in your abilities. Once you accomplish that you will not need validation from others. Now there will be some that don’t agree with your viewpoint and that is ok. But don’t let that change your direction if you are led by God and confident in the direction that you are heading. Stand firm in your beliefs.

Not everyone that gets inside of your head means you well. There are those that are standing on the sidelines waiting for you to fail. Jealousy is real!!

Just make sure you are selective and surround yourself with people who genuinely have your best interest at heart. And keep that circle tight!!!

One of my favorite quotes: “Your value doesn’t decrease based on someone’s inability to see your worth.” Anonymous
